Know what would stop all of it? End Data collection. There's SO MUCH DATA being processed that they know everything about everyone all of the time, and there are people looking for any single little advantage.

Look at Max and his DRS strategy...there are probably discussions with data engineers and strategists that tell him...look...don't EVER be the first car past THIS line if you're trying to pass.

Hamilton can be in 18th place, they will still air more Hamilton radio messages. The other drivers just have no interest around them. They get no post in Fchat, no youtube videos because it won't get interest. Every driver complained about track limits. They decided to braodcast Hamilton's radio, as they always do.

I believe he posted a P&R video and he got banned by the moderator(s) for the time being.

The video I believe was building walls as a solution to track limits. The video had a political figure that's famous for building walls.

Hamiltons radio just wasn't about track limits.

Hamilton was having radio messages with Bono about track limits and the performance of the car at which time, Toto chimed in between Lewis and Bono to cut both issues short. After that, Hamilton never made a radio message after Toto chimed in to quash Hamiltons "issues." "Just drive the car."

Possibly, but this one is interesting and Toto "shutting it down" from a 7x WDC title holder instead of Bono doing it. Bono was being cordial. Toto wasn't having it from Hamilton and controlled both issues Lewis was addressing.

Quite different from say Russell don't you think?

I watched the race (such as it was) and I'm still no wiser as to the final result or who got what penalties. AFAICS Perez was off the track on every lap but I didn't see him get a penalty. I have no idea if you trigger the black & white whether every single additional transgression is a 5 sec penalty, or if the clock resets after the first 5 secs and you get 4 more lives before the next. It's not really racing.

It's a farce really, they may as well just race in a car park in Las Vegas with virtual headsets to show them the track.

Again, team managers say things like this every race. They won't air it or make headlines because the driver have no interest. It won't get clicks. Hamilton is still the face of F1. Glad it caught your interest.

    Yeah that'll grow the sport

Flippin pathetic - No wonder NASCAR is more popular

Pathetic excuse for an F1 race and a major reason most people would rather watch paint dry-

I try to explain and generate interest with people in F1 and then this pathetic piece of **** happens- And they switch channels to golf- and I don't blame them

The ****ing "track limit" should be the retaining wall

Austria is without a doubt the most pathetic excuse for an F1 race I've ever seen in 50 years- disgusting-

It caught ALOT of people's interest.....not just mine.

Hamiltons post race interview was with a British reporter and she asked Hamilton if there was a problem with the car(after hearing the radio messages with Bono and Toto) and Hamilton replied that there was no problem with the car, just the performance.

No, it was the exchange between Hamilton, Bono and then Toto.

We have never seen that kind of exchange between Hamilton and Toto which is why it was very interesting.

Yeah weve never seen it but I would think it always happens between them. They say what they feel, they're like family now. But its seems respectful. It won't be the last time.

When you win all the time, you can do whatever whining you want.... if you're not winning all the time, you need to get back to winning all the time so we can hear "the tires are going off" then 10 fastest laps in a row...

You don't think a team who been together for a long time can feel like a family? You saying no way Schumacher had that with Ferrari?

    https://the-race.com/formula-1/why-f1s-awash-with-driver-snitching-hamilton-says-isnt-racing/

Both Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris were repeatedly broadcast 'dobbing in' their rivals in Austria - and it's nothing new for F1

From the early safety car restart to the moment they dived into the pits together under a virtual safety car later on, Norris messaged his team on nine different occasions to report Hamilton’s driving – eight of them being unprompted.

    NORRIS’S REPORTS
At the restart, exiting Turn 10: “Track limits, Hamilton, last corner.”
And on the next lap in the same place: “Track limits again, Hamilton, last corner.”
Two laps later, exiting Turn 6: “Track limits again, Hamilton. That’s his third time.”
After a few laps, back to Turn 10: “Track limits again, that’s his fourth strike.”
And immediately afterwards: “Ha – Turn 1, again.”

Norris was later told to report it “every time Hamilton goes off”. In response, he said: “I mean, he’s going off every lap everywhere. I’m not going to talk the whole time.”

After another message claiming Hamilton went “completely off, Turn 1”, Norris was actually told: “OK, you can stop reporting him now, they’re looking at every single one.”

But Norris didn’t. A little while later at Turn 6, he said: “Track limits again.” And he was reminded: “It’s OK, they’re getting through them now, there’s no need to report them. He’s already had a black and white flag.”
