Yes, what a tragedy, especially when you know how he died. :(

Since most is already revealed in sneak previews, we might as well reveal the result: 4th AO / 1st in class Sports.

Race number unknown to me and unfortunately not visible in pics posted by Marcel.

I would have said Scuderia Irlanda was for the 500 F2 but I may be wrong.

Car was on loan from the factory, not SAIPA.
Saipa was set up almost exclusively for the Frenchies who raced Ferraris and tried to avoid paying taxes.

So what I thought was a gap in panel fitting at the right door, is in fact the race number 1 painted as a large I. A roundel would have helped here....

The hood race number is not visible at all in the pics taken during the race. Racing was still a bit amateurish then.

Before 11.07.1953 there were also some hillclimbs not discussed yet:

    13° Bolzano - Mendola (05.07.1953)
    16° Coppa della Consuma (05.07.1953)

I am not 100% sure about this one:
16° Rally International des Alpes / 16° Coupe des Alpes (started 10.07.1953???)

0247EL, there are some subtle differences in detail. 0247EL was also green, while 0265EU was black.
