    Does anyone know how to remove the rubber grommet and 90 degree joint fitting from the brake / clutch slave? I tried pulling it out with pliers with no luck. I have a new rubber grommet (175189) but still need to order the correct 90 degree (184497) fitting (it was jerry rigged apparently).

    Remove the broken plastic piece then remove the rubber piece

    I use thin needle nose pliers and get between the lip of the plastic fitting and the rubber and lever it out. Never been a big problem and never needed a new grommet. The plastic fitting often breaks in the process but I keep spares around. You might be able to put a sheet metal screw in it and pull on that.

    The union you need is a 90 or near 90 degree fitting. Hose routing is very important. It needs to go gradually down hill to prevent air being trapped in hose. No, that wont work. Where is it out of stock?

    One of those 2 is a great supplier. The other is a waste of time.
    There are other suppliers you know.

    Amazon showed many options.

    I’ve had good customer service from each Ricambi and ScuderiaCarParts. Ricambi is expensive though! ScuderiaCarParts is phenomenal all around imo.

    I ordered 2 90 degree (5/16 and 3/8) fittings on amazon, but I didnt find one at 70 degree or so, only 90. It’s fun spending hours store to store looking for a $2 part…
