#131631 to be offered by Bonhams in Monterey next month. Rosso Corsa over Pella Nera, US-spec as expected (although it was in Germany for a while). A color change to black commissioned, oddly enough, by the person who bought it new within its first 5 months of existence, but brought back to Rosso Corsa by a later owner. Replacement engine (apparently kind of a thing for the Enzo), 16,900 miles. https://www.bonhams.com/auction/28011/preview-lot/5732173/2003-ferrari-enzo-vin-zffcw56ax30131631-engine-no-73365/ Interesting to note - Bonhams writes: I cannot recall another time I've seen a number over 400 be quoted by a seller! The truth will set you free. Although I hadn't heard a number quite that high before.
Interestingly, it still has metric speedometer and climate control dial. Also, Zanasi. IMO, the wheels should have been returned to original configuration prior to sale.
The 1st Enzo we ever sold, when it was black, many years ago! Agreed. Also, I think the interior was originally red.
Multiple repaints, a new engine and (possibly) a reupholstered interior. It'll be interesting to see the bids for this one.
Here's 131631 when we sold it from the car's original owner years ago, the interior was definitely red and it was original. RM is bringing #135264 to Monterey next month. Rosso Corsa over Pelle Rossa, 2,687 mi, Classiche. Like Bonhams' car, a US-spec example that spent time elsewhere. Sold new to Dubai, but moved to US very shortly after. Apparently the first owner had this in both Dubai and Utah? Not many people can say that. US-based ever since. Estimate $3.75 - 4.25m USD. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/mo23/monterey/lots/r0212-2003-ferrari-enzo/1381641 I like this interior - apparently the same as what Bonhams' car had when new. USA Version but new to Al Tayer Motors LLC. Nothing to do with the later owner S.H.I., or then R.H. in Utah. Or thereafter J.L. in CA. Marcel Massini
Thanks for the clarification. Was it never in private ownership in Dubai and upon initial US import? RM calls it a 3 owner car and describes 3 owners in the US alone.
So this guy is claiming 536+ Enzos, which is quite a bit more than even the number Bonhams put out recently (498).
Enzo production numbers? I'm much more interested in wether Marcel cares to confirm Black Hand's alleged working relationship with Ferrari SpA
He was a regular on here until he was banned, and not Marcels most favourite member either! You mess with Mr Massini, you sleep with the fishes
Certainly the juicier part of the video. I don't think Ed Bolian is getting a Massini report anytime soon! I don't know the history of any FChat beef and this is my first time even hearing of this guy, but for what it's worth, McCoy's insinuations about Marcel's motives do not mesh with this post Marcel made about the F50 on this public forum just last month. In any event, with all the drama that one could pull from that video, yes I unashamedly care the most about Enzo production figures . What can I say?
One of just 9 Enzos born in Argento Nürburgring, this one with 2'606 kms. Of the 9 cars 3 went new to Japan. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think so, the red Enzo in the video above has the same post-production application, I wonder why anyone would paint the lower trim as it's designed to be black plastic/rubber as it receives a lot of road rash, and frankly IMHO looks better the way the Ferrari factory made it as it accentuates a more slimline profile. Here's the Argento 133923 which we sold, in same guise as it left the factory. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes it looks better in black, but most of these cars don’t get much “road rash” as they seem to be rarely driven, which is a shame.
Am I correct in thinking there are only two Grigio Alloy cars in existence? One car with a gray/blue interior in the UK and one with a cuoio interior in Japan? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can anybody verify if a Ferrari Enzo with VIN #128780 was actually built? I am just aware of #128778, #128779 and #128781.
Yes, 128780 is an Enzo, Assembly #46048. Rosso Corsa with Nero. Engine #68149, gearbox #19, body #3. Build start 9 December 2002. New to Ineco S.r.l., Italy. Marcel Massini
