Thinking about this quali format, I think they got it wrong. it should go Soft, medium, Hard-- for Q3-2-1, respectively. That way everyone gets a chance to move on. THEN they need to keep the raw times for your quali position. so if a hard runner is slower than a Q3 soft runner, you start after them. There should be no reward for qualifying, the competitors are just getting penalized for something anyway after it's all over.
Red Bull and Honda aren't partner anymore. The engine are Red Bull Powertrain, AFAIK. It even says FORD on the building. So Tsunoda position is compromised now.
one of the kids was being interviewed by Sky and he almost stroked out when he started to talk about Lewis.
If that's the case then why does it say Honda on Ricci's new team shirt? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Add rain and your rules don't work. Q1 could be 20 seconds faster than Q3 pole. {{Or you could mandate sprinklers at every track during qualifying.................}}
It's a tricky one !! At the end of 2021, Honda announced they would leaving F1 after the 2022 season. But Red Bull came to an agreement with Honda to use their design and IP until the end of 2026; remember the engine freeze. Red Bull opened Red Bull Powertrains to build and service Honda-designed PU. In 2023, Red Bull Powertrains announced their association with FORD, to design engines for the next formula in 2026. Officially Red Bull PUs this year are RBP, so why they still wear Honda livery, I don't know. But their Red Bull Powertrains building has definitely already the FORD logo, as seen on photos. But I don't think Honda has much leverage regarding Tsunoda anymore.
i really doubt RB cares about Honda now. They already beat Merc back in 2021. It's a bonus they won 2022 and 2023. Frankly, i'm really surprised Tsunoda lasted this long
