This must have been the very last race of Lucien Farnaud in a Ferrari. Werner Ruf was racing 0068 M at the 15° Aosta - Gran San Bernardo already one week later (26.07 -1953).
In 1954 Farnaud raced an Osca MT4.

XV Aosta-Gd San Bernardo 26 July 1953 was Farnaud on 0068 M with race number 144.
Werner Ruf of Oftringen, Switzerland, got 0068 M only in 1954.

That makes a lot more sense than a period of one week in between races with separate owners. Most private drivers raced the same car during the year and replaced it only at the end of the year. Farnaud even switched to another small sports car manufacturer in 1954.

If the photo of 0068 M #104 is actually Rocca di Papa then the photo I posted of 0112 E #108 must also be Rocca di Papa as the background is identical.

OK, my information in post 377 is incorrect.
    My apologies. Thanks Mr Teste.

May I suggest that one always fully writes all information to any photo posted?
Such as race name, date, type, chassis number, driver, etc.
Posting a pic without any information at all, can easily cause confusion. And then who refers to what? Thank you.

While it is now clear that the pic of Farnaud with #104 was at the 18° Susa - Moncenisio and not at the Rocca di Papa hillclimb, is there any indication that Farnaud had entered the 1953 Rocca di Papa?
I have the 15° Aosta - Gran San Bernardo on 26.07.1953 as last race of Farnaud with 0068 M, but easily might have missed some later events. The hillclimb season usually lasts till October / November.

    [QUOTE="Marcel Massini, post : 149232294,

Merci.

absolument, ce serait une très bonne chose

Period results shows more Ferraris at the Susa-Moncenisio :

Castellotti indeed won the above 1100cc sportscar class with a 250 MM. He was followed by Bracco (3000cc), Scotti (3000cc, should be 0274 ?) and Gerini (as discussed).

Further down were Bonomi (3000cc), « Serano » (I think young Cornacchia) with a 2560cc (0182 ?), and last Bertolucci with a 2715cc (presumably the car he ran at the Mille Miglia ?).

I have both Lunken and Publicker as listed but DNA. These are the official results from the SCCA National newsletter July 31. Neither is listed.
