I recently had to replace my (R)everse button on my F430. It seems the R and Auto button are prone to wearing out. Surprisingly once I removed the metal cover to replace the button there was a third set of wires going to a unconnected plug which would be right in the spot that the launch button would be. Would Ferrari have the hardware in place for all F430s for launch control? Seems like a waste when I think the only other part would be software and CPU programming for launch. Not fitted to usa cars i understand, word has it you wreck the clutch on the 3rd time you use it. Told by uk ferrari engineer to keep my fingers off.
Wow man, it was a general statement, meant for anyone using the auto button you said that wears out. Sorry if I struck a nerve or something.
Dont worry about it, you get people on here saying they drive around town in race mode and then wonder why they drove the car into a ditch
