Saw one in the flesh. Smitten. Looked so good. Anyone getting one? Supposedly sold out but we all know how these things work.

The most underwhelming supercar release in recent memory. Near zero buzz.

I’m not in the market for this car, but found the name a little off putting. I’m fluent in Spanish, and the name Revuelto instantly makes me think upset stomach. In Spanish if your stomach isn’t feeling well sometimes you say “mi estómago está revuelto”. Sort of feel their marketing dept dropped the ball there.

I think this is true for every supercar/hypercar nowadays.

We're absolutely overwhelmed with exotic car content now. Growing up out East I could go a year without seeing a Porsche, and saw three Ferraris by 15. I was 15 when I saw my first Lamborghini.

I bet there is more car content posted every day on social media than existed on the whole planet before 1990. Between C&C events, concours, auctions and other club meets there are probably 20 car events a month in Vegas alone - let alone every other city. And people are posting all of that. I admit even I feel a little jaded.

So what we have is that a car is rumored, launched and then absorbed by the social media scene so instantly that by the time they begin to arrive people are already talking about the replacement! Or in the cases of Aston and McLaren they seem to launch a special LE car every 6 months and the next one is unveiled before the prior ones are delivered.

Mine is one of the pre-config cars so they'll be a few in the same spec arriving by end of this year, early next year.

    100%.

Supercars are like smart phones; they become obsolete in a short period of time with a new model every 3-6 months. Also, styling has hit a brick wall because there's only so much you can do with car design.

Aye. I just got the good word my 296GTB allocation is set for January 2024 production and its gotten rather anti-climatic as it will be pushing three years from reveal to delivery... Mentally it's hard to stay focused because in my head I've already had two or three waves of itch for something new. The order was my 2021 birthday present to myself.

I know I'll enjoy it but this is serious blue balls. o_O

The past few months I've been looking at older cars I've always wanted to have for collection - 993TT, Diablo 6.0, 04-06 Ford GT, etc. - but prices have gone through the freaking roof on anything remotely collectible.

It's kind of a surreal feeling to be hitting my stride professionally but apparently everyone else 40-70 is thinking the same thing and money is meaningless.

Maybe it’s time for there to be a new niche that is more about art than performance; since we’re hitting the limits of performance capability, and its ability to be used on the road.

I think we're seeing that with the Special Projects cars, and Gordon Murray Automotive. Arguably a lot of the Aston stuff too - they don't try and be The Best of any one category like speed, but shoot for a particular customer experience (ie. manual V12, or sort of a LeMans racer).

Whoever is getting one, bear in mind the smoothest riding Lambo is a much harsher ride than the rawest Ferrari.

I think it’s a good looking car, a safe departure from previous models. And I bet it’ll be quite a performer.

I’m gonna hold the STO and continue to enjoy it. Agreed many of the newer cars are ‘designed out’ looks wise. And I don’t need 1,000 hp to make me feel special. Maybe I’m getting old, or spent too much time on the track to be enamored with that much power which I could never use.

If anyone cares, depreciation is worse in a Lambo than a Ferrari. But I have nothing but glowing things to say about the Lambo dealer in Sarasota.

No doubt. Must be good to be Lamborghini or Ferrari these days.

What’ll be interesting is to see how these cars hold value a few years down the road

I have no doubt that the car will be easier to get than advertised. Most Lambos were readily available. The new Revuelto should be no different. I also agree that depreciation will be worse than Ferrari and normal like a lambo. Im just excited that I can finally fit in a lambo!

First 2 years, everyone has to sign a 12-month ROFR to discourage flippers, which should help keep prices stable. Additionally, it'll be the last V12 model, which should also help with demand.

Here in Canada, the MSRP increased from $699k to $750k. Thankfully Lamborghini corperate will honour the original MSRP for all the prec We also have a 10% luxury tax, along with other taxes, so it should keep this car fairly limited. My concern is the used market; how many buyers are there for a million-dollar Lamborghini?

Has a lot of corvette looks to it unfortunately… or maybe the corvette designers copied their language a bit.

I’d pick some others over this.

I don't know that there will be those options and honestly I may not keep the allocation when my time comes. I still haven't seen one so not convinced yet that it is for me.
