funniest post on FChat.--- good lord-- this wins the weird things on Ferraris contest for sure! I'm hoping that sh*t is photoshopped!
well, not a Ferrari. I've also seen them bounce up n down or drive over salvage cars or jump 15 busses.... but again, not a Ferrari lol.
Better. My first setup: Stock cats Novitec valved Sounded horrible (coming from 430 w headers and s-line) Setup two: Kline 100 cell cats Novitec valved Better but still not what I wanted. Setup three: Voodoo catless w xpipe Sounds insane. Way better than novitec.
The 488 was an amazing car, but I missed the NA. The 488 was a bit too refined for me, I wanted something more raw. The scud fits the bill. The superfast 2 F1 transmission in the scud is insane and worth experiencing if you have never driven one. Add to that the stripped our interior. Very special car. Driving the scud is an experience, something the 488 unfortunately was not.
Get a 69 Camaro for this type of feel. Isn’t the whole idea of Ferrari to be refined, highly engineered and handle like a video game? Don’t understand why so many WANT raw and rough and stripped out interiors and noisy and clanky and uncomfortable and shaky and am I still typing? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
owned 2 F430's for 11 years total... and yes, I drove a scud extensively as my buddy had one and often wanted to switch with me so he could go out to dinner or whatever with a girl. It was fun but no different from the feeling I'd get when I had my 69 Camaro, 73 Camaro, 69 Nova etc... I love that muscle car feel but NOWHERE near as much as a refined exotic car feel. I have same feelings for all the 'race' Ferrari versions... I don't get the concept of wanting that type of car to drive ANYWHERE other than if you're some ultra rich guy that has many many cars and can afford to go to the track 3 times per week. This is why I got the F8... for me, it's an incredibly IMPROVED Pista.... In other words, a Pista that you can actually drive to work or to dinner or go for a nice long cruise to the keys.
