Hey guys, First time posting here, but long time Ferrari tinkerer. I have had a 2008 F430 Spyder for about 3 years and have really enjoyed driving it. Had the clutch redone about a year ago and it is currently at about 70% life left. Two days ago I backed it into the driveway to wash it and when I was done I noticed it was a bit sluggish pulling it back into the garage. Today I went out and it would not move once it was in reverse. I put it into 1st and the same. No movement. I thought maybe one of the F1 lines had come undone but they were all in tact. I thought maybe I had sprung a leak but there is no fluid on the ground. I did the typical F1 time test and it was something like this. Door open - engine off - ignition off - 8 seconds for F1 to prime ignition on - engine off - about 3 seconds engine on - pump primed for about 10 seconds which I think is too long and then reprimed every 2:40 seconds engine off - primed about every 4 minutes or so. I hooked it up to my scanner and three codes showed up P1777 - EV clutch leakage excessive P1778 - Pump flow/pressure insufficient P1781 - Relay drive pump stuck To my knowledge this car is running on the stock accumulator, the F1 pump sounds normal to me, the relay seems to be telling the pump to go on and off normally. There is some small traces of ATF on the actuator connections. Could it just be an accumulator breaking down, or could I just need to bleed the system. I have noticed in the passed the car does not like to go into gear after sitting on an incline. Thanks in advance for all your help and all the help this forum has already given me.
Sounds like you need a new clutch solenoid unless your Throwout bearing is leaking Don't use car ..chance of burning pump out Also replace relay when you fix it Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
The clutch solenoid is the one on the top left opposite pressure sensor https://www.sequparts.com/product/qpv02-solenoid-valve-ferrari-f1/ Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
If you plan to change it yourself reach out to me on pm and i will give you instructions how to change both that and the the accumulator at the same time that should fix your problems unless you have other issues with your clutch like I said throw out bearing Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Like @flash32 said, get some timings like original poster did, post them here. Most likely pressure loss in the system somewhere.. He will advise.
