The length some people go to to find a way to criticize Lewis is amazing. Any F1 driver, make that any professional driver in any race series, who didn’t believe and say the same wouldn’t get a seat. You have to have total self belief to make it in the sport.

I don't care if it had 1200 more hp. Max said he can win in it and haters were quiet.

He's asking if Lewis is a tool because Jimmy called everyone else who makes exactly the same comparison a tool.

Is the RB advantage now not true? Winning by 30 seconds is winning by 30 seconds. Doesn't matter how its done.

The RB19 DOES NOT have a 100hp advantage over its rivals NOR is the FIA mandating a token system to hamper RedBulls competitors from advancing their PU.

Don't forget the "amazing lack of imagination," which ironically, is the first thing one would need to discuss theoretical situations.

I've always heard people see what they want to see, but it's pretty astonishing how a benign musing has resulted in accusations of hate.

Do you think a driver would care how he wins by 30 seconds? If I ask Norris would he like to win the next race by 30 seconds through HP, superior chassis, aero whatever, he is not gonna care.

You're comparing 2 different set of era's with different set of rules.

Max is just on another level....always has been.

    You're not making any sense.
30 seconds was 30 seconds in the 60s, in the 90s it doesn't matter what era it is. 30 seconds will be the same 100 years from now. If the rules change tomorrow 30 seconds will still equal 30 seconds. Ask Norris under what rules would he like to win by 30 seconds.

I'm sure Norris would pick the rules that aided Mercedes and Lewis to win their WDC and WCC titles from 2014 thru 2020 as opposed to the current rules(2022 and 2023) because the current rules are not holding any of the teams back as opposed to the rules from 2014 thru 2016 that did hold teams back from advancing.

    Make sense sunshine?

I must be missing the point you are trying to make. If Max said 60% of the drivers in 2019 could win in that Mercedes, of course he is going to include himself in that list unless you think Max believes he is a bottom 40% driver. And that makes zero sense.

I'm not trying to dispute or agree with whatever point you are trying to make, but 30 seconds in the 60s, 90s, 2020s, etc are all different because it's relative to the competition. Back in the 50s and 60s drivers would win by minutes. No days were tenths matter, 30 seconds is huge.

Splitting hairs. He made the decision to say what he said. The end goal was to say the Mercedes was giving him an advantage and he could do the same. So now Sir Lewis Hamilton says something similar haters speak on it. Again, silence when Max said it.

Negative. The rules back then solidified domination for a longer period as opposed to the rules now we are currently witnessing.

So 30 seconds back then for 5 or more years.

    As opposed to

30 seconds we are currently in for 2 years.

It's really not to difficult to understand creampuff.
