FHP and carbon seats for me, as long as they're currently in similar condition. I don't really care about owners and miles, though, just current condition.

To me it's a no-brainer to buy the carbon seats/FHP car -- that is a special 355, and will surely maintain its value better than the other car, especially if you're going to rack up some miles.

Thanks for your views, definitely a help. Also good to know the roof still fits behind the carbon seats easily @ShineKen. Both U.K. RHD drive

If it’s the UK car, I’ve seen that one as well and it is probably worth checking to see if it really an FHP car vs simply having red calipers + drilled rotors. Easiest way to check is to look at the Bilstein damper ecu located in the passenger foot rest. It should indicate Fiorano Handling.

The black GTS with cf seats + FHP I recently saw is LHD.

This is why you buy a car equipped with FHP. Because you’ll never piece together these individual parts. I can pretty much guarantee it.

I feel the newer Ferraris are lacking the finesse once seen in these F355. The underside of a F355 is far prettier and put together than this newer 488 Pista. The overspray on the underside could’ve been easily painted to match the black undertrays or even body colored matched. Looks tacky for a vehicle stretched to the limits of details.

Have you seen the undercoating splattered all over the wheel wells of the 355? My car has a few drips on the valve covers!

Really be interesting to see where the the Swaters Blue GTB on BAT ends up. I was interested in the car when it was on Autotrader.ca but looking at the pictures several time just shows so many questionable things that I thought,

Damn that is sexy time. I wonder if the red seats were ordered from new. Never seen just bordeaux seats without other parts of the interior being red.

You couldn’t spec cars this way in 95. Ferrari allowed more freedom towards the end of the model run.

This is a factory spec’d 550. But note, they are carbon seats.

That’s quite a statement coming from a man who has been the record stating anything above $60k for a 355 is unrealistic.

I truly don't understand a dealer that puts a car on BaT with visible mold on the interior. That is pretty insignificant mold, it would clean up easily. They really couldn't wipe down the leather with a warm soapy cloth? It's mind-boggling. You would't post a clapped-out Chevy with visible mold, but you put a Ferrari for sale like that? I'm tempted to contact the seller just to ask how that happened. What the thought process was. We're talking about 20 minutes of work to clean off the mold.

"Should we get a washcloth and wipe off this mold on the interior, or just put a moldy Ferrari up for sale?"
"How long we talking -- big job?"
    "About 20 minutes."
"Forget it, too much work. Let's sell a moldy Ferrari. Can't lose."
