277 is lower than I would have expected. The CS is easily the best deal in modern Ferraris.

Options were strong aside from the factory stripe. Overall seems like a good result for both parties.

It’s hard to determine the exact market value of these since there are very few transactions per year and there is a lot variability in the offerings (miles, specs, condition, etc)

I posted early in the auction that it was a $280k car. I wouldn’t have won both showcases but I was close. lol

Hey Erik, is the CS ceramic coated or ppf’d or both? Great shine.

Neither, funny you mention that, I spent several hours detailing the car before the cars and coffee this weekend. I went old school with high end Carnuba to give it that final touch.

As a hobby detailer, i can agree with doing this. Just out of curiosity: Do you do it barehanded, with gloves or with an applicator pad?

I personally am not a fan of PPF, and ceramic coatings can also give some interesting results everynow and then. Ill just keep some distance to the cars ahead to avoid rockchips instead of getting the car PPF-ed, and enjoy giving my F430 a nice spa every now and then when i detail it :)

Not to go to far off tangent, but this car only gets driven a few hundred miles a year (sad but "we" have several cars, etc.). My process was as follows for cars not driven a lot in our care. I try and do each special car once or twice a year:
    1. Wash the car with any product to strip wax
    2. Apply Maguirs NXT 2.0 by hand and remove by hand (applying with an applicator pad)
    3. Wait 24 hrs and apply Pinnacle Souveran wax by hand a super thin coat (this product is VERY EASY to remove)
    - Wait another 24 hrs and apply another thin coat (if I have the time and feel like it). If I don't have time to apply another full coat, I'll do the last step using Pinnacle Liquid Spray Wax (we always have a spray bottle that I refill with the gallon size in the garage).

After this the results will speak for themselves. This process does not hold up the best if the car is a daily driver, in need of paint correction, etc. but for our cars I like the end results. **full disclaimer** a lot of people much more skilled and knowledgeable then me will say all types of other ideas/suggestions, this is just what I have found that works for me with an easy to follow process.
