    This is being sold as an "Authentic AP460 BAC Concorde Aluminum Metal 34" Desk Top Display Model Airplane" which it clearly is not. Does anyone happen to recognize it and know what it is?

    This is an example of somebody's exercise in carving and filing a chunk of aluminum to look like a high speed flying machine airplane to decorate a desk. My impression.

    Yes that was pretty much just what I thought to myself. I was only looking for Concorde models because I recently missed out on a large travel-agent front window style Concorde model and it's been in the back of my mind ever since. Trivia note: the company that made the Concorde display models still exists today.
