    I deal in facts only.

    I read an interesting article recently that argued that had the USA stayed out of WW1, Germany's defeat would not have been so overwhelming and a less onerous settlement reached, which in turn would have made Hitler and WW2 less likely.

    The fact that's it's LHD and had a flagpole in the 1958 photo indicates to me that it was a souvenired staff car, brought to England by a returning serviceman, so it probably has a nazi history.
