Whoever spec'd that car has TASTE. Insanely good taste.

Apparently, Americans didn’t have good taste in the 90’s.

We did. Just not in such quantity. Peter Kalikow's F355 comes to mind, but he didn't get the sport seats. Though he has tobacco leather and believe it or not I'd rather have that than sport seats.

I find 355’s with interesting interior colors just as intriguing as one with sport seats. It’s not like the standard 355 seat is ugly. Can’t say the same for non-daytona 360 and F430 seats :).

So true, the standard seat is actually suiting the interior, and comfortable. The stock 360 seat is big bulky and did not suit my body shape for sure with its narrow upper backs.

Exactly. The standard seats don't get the respect that they deserve. They are very comfortable yet sporty and fit the car perfectly. The sport seats are a work of art but I feel they belong in the F355 Competizione and not the standard F355.

I hate the standard seats. They're a basic Recaro from the 80's. Side bolsters are decent but the bottom is like a pickup truck bench seat. I slide right out of them. Would love to find something different that fits the aesthetic of the interior. Maybe Recaro Sportsters.

In my opinion, there’s no way that this car has only 10k miles.

That car's presentation was almost perfectly designed to deter online bidding, which requires first and foremost the bidder having a feeling of trust and confidence in the car. $155k RNM not the least bit surprising.

On the other hand, ignoring the low miles for a minute, was $155k that far off? Throw out the high and the low and the 155k bid wasn't that far off.

… but how can you ignore the mileage on a 10k mi car?

Speedart is asking $300k for this 11,000 km (7000 mi) car and it doesn’t appear they are interested in budging on the price.

The 4 guys bidding on it at the end did. :)

Not to worry. Another one coming up. This one looks like it might hit $200k from a quick scan of the pics.

    … but you think it’s reasonable to compare a 10k mi 355 to 20k-50k mi 355’s.

Yep. When the 10k mile car isn't a museum piece. Face it, that car was a driver.

You said the car sat for most of the past decade. Perhaps it was a driver the decade before. It simply wasn’t driven or cared for for the last 10 years. Not presented well enough for someone to feel good about the purchase. Seller thought he could get away with minimal effort with low mileage and specs. Market taught him a lesson.

Not so much the miles, the condition. Like the $186k car with 18k miles. It wasn't the miles that brought the higher price. Miles are only part of the picture.

Look at the pictures of the car that just came up. It's like new.
