Has anyone put 285/30ZR20 on the front of an F8? The diameter is almost identical to the stock 245/35ZR20. The wheel width could be an issue. 9" wide isn't ideal for a 285. 10" would be best.

You will need new wheels...you always want to slightly stretch the side wall or have it square so the sidewalk doesn't flex in under high G turns. The tire sidewall movement makes steering feel very sloppy.

Easy camber adjustment will help. Also what tires are you running?

Are you having understeer at the track?... mid corner or exit? It could be some driver changes and how the car is throttled out of the corner. Most likely better tires, air pressure and camber with toe adjustment will fix.

Currently Michelin pilot super sports previously PZeros. The Michelins are better but not perfect. The next set I have to try are Michelin cup 2. I'll probably end up running new Michelin 4S on the street and the cup 2 at the track I already have a track alignment which helped tremendously. It's pretty much mid corner. Yes throttle settles the car but I can't get on the throttle fast enough to overcome all of the understeer on some low speed turns.

I use Cup2…street and track but not tracking my 488. Last few laps I did in the 488 was Sebring in November 2021. At the track the Cup 2 will help running them hot around 32psi.

On the street they are like a street tire until they get hot. Here in Florida they can get hot enough on the street to help.

When in the corner and you start getting on throttle and the car starts to understeer…front is pushing through corner….let off the throttle a smidge and don’t tighten your steering arch, try relaxing the steering a touch to get front traction back. Tires will only grip so much but letting off the throttle will transfer weight back up front and help gain traction. Maybe you know all this and have been at it a long time…I’m just talking here….but hope it helps. ;-)

Wider tires up front will help with understeer, but steering will become more numb.

That’s a good combo for the road/track, I did the same with the 458 (until I bought a Challenge car for tracking).

Cup 2s will heat cycle out before tread gives way, a track alignment will help with understeer but will wear the insides much faster.

I also ran Kumhos and Falkens on track, both were decent and a bit less expensive than Michelins.

Can you drop the front ride height say 10mm?
