Anyone on here with a 430 with Tubi exhaust manifolds and stock muffler? I’m looking to go this route and can’t find much out there. Any input or feedback appreciated.

I have a 360 with Tubi’s and love them. Capristo exhaust however.

Don’t know about the 430 O2 sensors, etc. but just make sure whom ever you order them from they get the correct parts. I had 2 sets delivered that were incorrect before the third were correct (with the O2 sensor bung the collector and air injection rails- the 360 has a precat).

After you order them, contact Tubi thru their website (someone will answer the “contact” form on their website) and just tell them who you are, your order dealer and what you need. Once I did that, the final set were correct.

I have the inconel Tubi with stock exhaust. Really like the Tubi, opened up the sound very nicely, no drone, more backfiring. At every FCA drives everyone likes to be behind my car. No CEL, ECU was remapped for this.

My independent shop mechanic did. Not sure what software he used for that. You will be very happy with Tubi. I was inbetween Tubi and Capristo but went with Tubi for the inconel metal and no need for blankets. Plus Tubi is across from Maranello and collaborates with Ferrari.

I have the Tubi mufflers (double homologated with valves model). I love the whole set-up but If you are looking for the high pitch F1 type sound this is not it.

I’m not looking for the high pitched F1 sound. Prefer as close to stock sound as possible, but without the cracked manifold concerns.

They are supposed to. I should be able to confirm in the next couple of days. 11 of 16 old manifold nuts removed. Not a fun job.

Tubi exhaust manifold installation completed a couple days ago. Bolted right in (removing and replacing all the manifold nuts was NOT fun) and no check engine light on start up. Sound is fairly similar to stock. Maybe a little deeper. Haven’t taken for out on the road yet, which I hope to do this weekend. I like the look better than headers with blankets and the price wasn’t bad at $5400 delivered.

I’ve included a pic of the wrench collection I ended up with, all of which helped with manifold nut removal and replacement.

One other note I forgot. I smoke checked my stock manifolds and there were no cracks. My car is a very late 08, but the original manifolds were replaced at three years and 9900 miles. I’ve also used the Capristo exhaust brackets for about four years.

Thanks Henry! I didn’t weigh them but my non-calibrated arm says they are a bit lighter. Putting the old manifolds in the attic was a bit harder than carrying the Tubis into the garage. :D

Following up, I put a few miles on this weekend and happy to report no check engine light and sound is similar to stock. A bit deeper/louder/raspier at start up but that’s about it. Pretty happy with the decision.

Wow you got a great deal. From what I remember I paid around 6200 for my capristo headers/blankets, I remember tubi was much more expensive at the time
