I saw that. No sale might be due to Canadian registration (no title), Valéo clutch, and missing bottom panel below the fuel tank, or simply that the serious buyers are on vacation till early September?
WOW! Here's the most incredible statement from the listing: "the selling dealer notes the engine has not been started under current ownership."
My one-owner low miles t is at FMS (Andy Falbo) for a belt service and will be for auction on BAT in October/November. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
As Andy was telling me (the t has been parked there for a while) the car still smells like new inside. It is probably due to the very rare factory optional full leather interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yours is such a beautiful example I wouldn’t be surprised if someone doesn’t buy it before it hits BAT.
Is this your car WilyB? From trying to zoom in, it appears it has 9,800 miles on the ODO. If it's NOT a US car, that's like 6k miles.
Yes, I am the original owner from new in Spring 1990. It has about 8,500 miles today, plus 733 km on the original speedometer, for a total of ± just under 9,000 miles. Image Unavailable, Please Login
1989 Ferrari Mondial T Coupe 5-Speed Image Unavailable, Please Login 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Coupe 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending August 21 (Lot #117,710) | Bring a Trailer https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1989-ferrari-mondial-t-coupe-15/ (This is not my car)
1985 Mondial QV convertible, listed as a "project". Red/Black. 17k miles but listed as TMU. A mileage inconsistency is noted in 1991, and a “Not Actual Mileage” title was issued by the state of Virginia in 2015. Has some misalignment issues with the body and needs some repairs, but doesn't look too bad, I've seen worse. At $15k now, with just under 2 days to go. Image Unavailable, Please Login https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-ferrari-mondial-quattrovalvole-cabriolet-3/
Sold $160,000 this week. Image Unavailable, Please Login Still a terrible investment if bought new, inflation would put this at around $200,000 Really, nothing to get too excited about until these (with actual mileage) start trading hand around 300. (imho) maybe in 10-20 years after ICE is banned. I'm an owner, so I'm not biased on the bear.
Another one on BAT. 1985 Mondial QV Convertible Red/Tan 30k miles Appears to have metric wheels/tires, also has fender badge but looks like a sticker as opposed to actual badge, some mention of slow windows 1 day left and latest bid at $40k (can't see if it's "No Reserve") https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-ferrari-mondial-quattrovalvole-cabriolet-2/
Yet another Mondial on BAT... 1988 Mondial 3.2 Convertible Red/Tan 66k miles Previously sold 2 years prior on BAT for $41.5k Looks to be in really good condition. 3 days left per this post, current bid of $31k https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-ferrari-mondial-3-2-cabriolet-9/ ---can't post picture link for some reason---
