    I could accept the premise except that the total delay from the first announced date to the date the books are finally going to be available from Amazon in the U.S. (October 7) is 8 months later than originally scheduled, and I know that at least two of the books have been available in the U.K. since early in the spring. If so, that's an awfully slow ship!

    I think it may be more a matter of booking the cheapest passage, to use an outdated phrase, and waiting to accumulate a large enough shipment to get the best rate, and probably for customs clearances too. . Amazon is notoriously cheap, as they should be, when it comes to freight costs. Just my guess.

    I got the notification too. I’d like to have the book but I can’t justify that price. It’s worth maybe half that to me.

    The signing by Keith Bluemel looks significantly different from that in other books he signed (like F40 by Porter). Looks like shorthand here. Maybe, he was not in a mood to sign 550 properly ...

    He told me why it was. I think he said he did the signings at Retromobile and he had so many to sign in one go in a limited time. There was some particular reason anyway. My memory is going!!

    Indeed it looks more like an initial than a signature. Perhaps the books with a lower number, that is, the books he signed first, do have a full signature.
