3rd for Gasly / Alpine is quite good - Perez got a 5s penalty, but so did Gasly; so he is really in front.

 

I just don't know what to think about McLaren. I bought into them on my fantasy team, they're quick on Saturday, but can't close the deal on race day.

 

... Alonso is 2nd; where is the "future world champion" who has the same car ?

 

Was a good battle to watch. Well done by Carlos today. Tough day and he drove well!

Well he is saying he wont leave F1 for tennis sadly lol! He finished 11th and no points of course. But he had a great qualy lol.

 

Fred showing unusual humility as his interviewer asks "why do you do so well in changeable conditions?". I fully expected "because I can actually drive" as his answer.

(Also: did he just try a joke?!)

Humor aside: he absolutely stormed around the track to recover after a slow stop -- amazing stuff.

 

They dont 'need' im in the car but unless he melts down further I think they will tolerate him for next year. I agree though, he is not getting it done overall with such a capable car this year. If they dont honor his contract who would they take on into the team. I think it would be Ricci, maybe Yuki but Lawson is not ready.

 

Interesting race but same winner.

Given the circumstances, outscoring Mercedes at this track, even by the smallest margin, is a miracle result for Ferrari.

 

Ricciardo would be worse compared with Perez.
Tsunoda isn’t good enough and Lawson is just an unknown quality right now.
Hiring Albon despite his Williams contract for 2024 would be a very wise choice to my modest opinion.

Ferrari should be grateful to Lance Stroll; it's thanks to him that the 3rd place of Aston Martin in the constructor's championship is still within reach.

 

Please paint the car yellow and call it a Fiat for the rest of the season. Max made Checo look ultra slow. Good race for Nando. Lance needs to start working on his backhand. Lewis couldn't pass that Fiat at the end. Carlos's best race this year.

 

Dutch track and Belgian weather. Love it. Gutsy driving from Carlos. The less said about Charles’ weekend, the better.
