I will have to check that for ADAC/VLN/N24.
To me, a car/driver that receives outside assistance should be automatically disqualified.

generally it’s a moot point, if your race has devolved into outside assistance you’re almost always out of contention

Fully agree ... I'm a Verstappen fan, but he broke the rules without penalty.

    Not in my book.
A driver/car not being able to regain the pit under its own power should be automatically DNF, and not included in the result.
Same for a car/driver not running when the chequered flag drops.
Even out of contention, the IMSA system still allows cars that have been rescued on the track to score points and be ranked at the finish.

One year at Le Mans 24 Hours, we had the leading car (Toyota) failing during the last lap, and unable to see the chequered flag.
It was not included in the result, although it had achieved a longer distance than the car in second position that was declared the winner.
To finish First, first you have to finish

    I'm conflicted.

I think if a car goes down an escape road and needs a push out of it, that's one thing. But, if you beach your car is fully beached in the sand, or you tangled underneath a barrier or something, you should be done. Your incident has likely caused a full course yellow, and you shouldn't be in the race anymore.

Albon raced well! There were strategic errors that caused him to loose places. He should have finished 4th. I did not see the perez pit speeding thing. when did that happen? On the entry of the pit before race red flagged and pit closed?

Seems to me Ferrari treat carlos as #2. I don't think Lec performace is better than carlos. Lec is fast but error prone. Carlos a smarter racer.

yes....Perez slid into the pit lane after he hit the right side of the pit lane barrier with his right front wheel since the ground was slippery thereby impeding him from slowing down.

As Toto said, there were some "catastrophic" errors in the pitlane to include himself.

Some teams reacted well to dry-wet-dry-wet changes on the track....others did not.

He still hopes for a second chance at RB I see. Seems like he didn't learn the lesson the first time: Marku/Horner/Jos run the show.
