Got a ride with Derek when he promoting Aston cars. While he was driving pretty quickly his wife called him said she had and accident. Once he learned she was fine it never slowed down him one bit. He has great stories for the crowd.

I count about 11 Vintage era 12 cylinder cars and 2 Dinos.
Was there others of either not shown in above photos ?
What was the total of cars in the concorso ?
    Just curious.

I had a great time at last year's Annual in Canada, but there, too, there were far fewer vintage Ferraris than I would've thought.

I remember going to local-level events in NJ in the late 80s where more vintage Ferraris showed up. Values being what they are, I get it's a risk bringing them anywhere, but isn't an FCA Annual supposed to be one of the prime opportunities to display these cars?

I read an article awhile back by Tom Cotter ("The Barn Find Hunter", and a genuinely nice guy) about how the older generation that bought these cars when they were cheaper was much less hesitant to drive or otherwise use their car; as that generation aged out and sold, the new owners of a now $1M+ car are much less likely to do anything other than keep it garaged and polish it with a diaper.

Thanks much for the pics and to the owners of the cars that did come out!

It's a damn disgrace is what it is. :D

Looks reminiscent of Admiral Goodwrench's car.

Wow, what a great Awards Gala tonight.

2 cool things with the first being much less interesting than the second.

    1. They were bold enough to put my “face for radio” up on the big screen.

    2. Leslie Blinn shared with me last night that the chief focus on the 2024 FCA Annual Experience will be ENZO ERA CARS! There is a God…

Yes, Leslie is correct. There will be something special for all the Enzo cars with a build date by/before December 31, 1969.

Anyone interested in being a sponsor, Mercato display or program advertiser should be in touch.

Did the McCaws have anything there? I've lost track of who all the Seattle collectors are/remain. Greg Whitten was another one from there.
