    Hi All,
I have a 2015 458 with only 10K miles on her. I experienced a hard start the other day and now notice an issue with my left side of my digital display board. Its giving some duplicate images and then will clear itself. I thought at first it was a display issue but the more I watch and monitor it it seems to be a power related issue. I did change out the battery and problem still exist. I think this could be a bad fuse or a power relay switch/fuse. Has anyone experienced this before or have an idea on what fuses to check. just opening up the passenger side door makes the left display image change or become invisible.

    Thank you

    Pete

What volts are you getting say at the power plug, displays fade is more like voltage dropping

Hi there, its not a fade and its only on the left side. what's happening is the display images are half there or even overlapped with each other. They go away at re-start up of the car and may even act normal for a period of time. I'm thinking its a partially blown fuse or a relay stuck open or closed. Again, this all started after a cold start up of the car.

???? Partially blown fuse ????? Never heard that before.

Simple questions are you the original owner ?

If not where did you you buy the car ? Ferrari dealer , private , other dealer.

10 K low or high has nothing to do with it. Does the car have its history ? 10 k on a 13 year old car is very low.

Thank you for the reply. I'm the second owner and the vehicle comes from a reputable hi line auto dealer for the "Stars" in Dallas TX. Not sure how your questions help me diagnose the issue.

I only ask because I find it coincidental ? cars with non common issues usually are second hand.

In other words you have absolutely no idea what has been done to the car. Does it have any items that are NOT standard on the car ?

If not go back to that auto dealer for the Stars and get them to diagnose what the issue is.

This is where its better to have bought it privately or from a Ferrari dealer.

So failing any resolution on the cars issues visit a Ferrari dealer.

    no.

a previous owner tapped into the cluster for a camera install or something similar is my guess. you have a bad wire somewhere

there are reasons why low mileage cars show up for sale at a 3rd party and not a Ferrari dealer. The cluster wiring issue is likely one of them.
