F8 spider allocations

Hi all,

I put my deposit for the f8 spider in August 2021. I inquired with my dealer regarding when to expect the allocation recently. They had mentioned the list is moving and they are continuing to receive allocations. Does anyone here know when f8 spider production is ending? Has anyone had their order for f8 spider canceled? I read posts with people having their f8 tributo order canceled, and it has made me a little worried. would appreciate any insight. thank you

havnt heardof a tributo canceleld or spiders but my buddys spider is expected late next year

 

Game of attrition. Ongoing manufacturing. They don’t know how many they will get or when they will get them. Good to touch base but they just don’t know. I suspect the dealer is hoping/trying to get all they can but they don’t know.

New world situations supply competition etc.

I waited 14mos for my F8 Tributo, and finally received it in September of 21. Just prior to that, in July of 21, I was also offered an allocation for a Spider. I grabbed it and am still waiting. The dealer recently updated me, and said things are moving…. but very slowly. As a result, I should not expect anything until the early part of next year.

Having the F8 Tributo in the garage certainly makes the wait much easier, however!

 

I'm in the same situation. I placed my deposit in August 21 and have not received an allocation. I spoke with my dealer about a month ago and he said they had not received an F8S allocation for a few months and didn't know when they would. He has not seen any orders canceled. I've resigned myself to waiting until next summer or later to receive the car.

 

Placed my order Sept 3 2021.
The GM at my dealer said I should get a build/allocation in Jan. Seems like the last Spiders will be arriving US summer 23.

It’s not over until it’s over. So far, the factory hasn’t said it’s over! It may go the same way the final F8T deposits were cleared out (what seemed like one big push of allocations). Time will tell best of luck to you.

 

I was at the factory on September 9. There are many F8spider is being built currently on the V8 line. And then they were equal number of 296 Gtb and GTS then Romas and the occasional Portofino M.

It seems like Europe has moved on to the 296 including spider, and we are still on the F8spider

Hi all,

I wanted to update the thread. I heard from my dealer that I received the allocation. My build is locked and will be going into production next month. I'm very excited!

Congrats! I also received my allocation about a week ago and am now locked in! Woohoo

 

I was at my dealer earlier today, and I found out I'm status 85!!! On the app, it's only showing 1 picture though. I can't wait! The dream is going to be reality. I'm so happy!!

 

mine is on a flat bed coming to LA. cant wait - wondering when they stop production of the 2023 spider

 

Well, it finally arrived! Almost two years and its everything I could dream of.

They started on the skid plate and window tint today. PPF starts on the 5th and Ceramic on the 8th. Final delivery should be the 9th. CANNOT WAIT!

i love that RED - but that cost of 32k was just too much....

but i think it is the best color- i got the rosso california and love it but i think it is one notch below urs. congrats

 

ps is there a better looking car than the f8? i dont think so

 

Thank you for the kind words! I do admit that there are some pretty amazing Tributos and Spiders out there. We are all a lucky bunch to enjoy such a car.
