Really nice to see both drivers showing their teeth and driving with guts and emotion. The mutual respect was the cherry on top. Easily the most entertaining race in recent memory.

The last attempt by Leclerc was not completely fair IMHO - Sainz deserved the podium, and he was (or wasn't he ?) just slightly slower because he was defending the whole race (actually helping Leclerc to keep in touch thanks to DRS)

I was thinking the same thing. They do kind of look like headers.

That's the inspiration. Headers going into 1 pipe.

I would have stopped all that on start of Lap 50. No need to even approach ruining a well fought result. I dont care which pilot is where at that point. The team at that point is the focus. Charles had many chances and simply did not get it done. End of.

I can't believe that we are going to witness history in the making.....HONDA will be the FIRST MANUFACTURE that will go undefeated in a F1 SEASON.

Summed up both of them. CL's a sneaky ...

As per the post qualifying conference he was also driving Sainz' set up because his sucked.
Fast, but not a complete driver, nor team leader.

Basically Charles went below the hard deck so the Team (Viper) says "knock it off guys" , then Charles insists on yet another move on Carlos. This time they got away with it .

Ferrari now have to have a stern talk with Charles who is no longer the chosen one, hopefully.Good to see some proper racing though , none of the lift n coast rubbish.

There is a touch of favoritism with Charles at Ferrari. He has a 'flair' about him but that is wearing poorly now. Bottom line, the faster driver is clearly not the better one this year. Charles is not making the progress I thought he would. Carlos, is cooler, more calculating and works harder to me and is no doubt the smarter one currently. Charles last move and all the lock up smoke was utterly immature and shows the team is not quite his first priority. He didnt earn the podium today. Period.

Just finished watching the race while being on vacation in Italy. What a relief to not have to listen to Crofty as well as a great fight between the Ferrari teammates. It is a complete difference in broadcasting than what we are stuck with, it was nice to have it more balanced and less poor Hamilton….

So when Leclerc holds position, he lacks the zeal of a Senna, Schumacher, or Verstappen, but when he tries and nearly succeeds at mugging his teammate, he’s criticized? Which one is it guys?

Three and four at Monza, closing in on second in the championship, six points separating both drivers, and Sainz turning it up to challenge Leclerc. Can’t we just celebrate that instead of bagging on Ferrari drivers?
