GAHH covers. Also surprised to learn they had an approved installer 5 miles from my house. Very happy with the results. Sent from my SM-S918U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hi guys. I am looking at the covered lump in the garage thinking of waking up the GT4 so I thought I would check back in to Fchat and see what was up. I came across this thread and couldn't help but post about some testing I did way back. I hope this answers the question. After this test it was stock air cleaner all the way for me. Especially in the summer. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/another-goofy-test-reveals-the-obvious.462374/

All polished up and ready to go to Artomobilia in Carmel Indiana next weekend. Used this new McGuire's ceramic wax and it is awesome!
I rebuilt my 360's water pump from a kit I purchased at Ricambia. Designed and 3D printed the special tool required. Very satisfying. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I replaced my shorted-out cigarette lighter socket in my '89 328. My dumbass plugged in a modern, high current air-pump into the lighter socket. Thankfully it fried the lighter socket and not the entire wiring loom. I'm not a purist, so bought this (see pic) lighter socket at AutoZone for US$8. Can you see much difference? BTW... It's my experience, an OEM 328 lighter socket is unobtanium without spending US$300 for used. Alternate part nos provided by numerous sites don't fit without modification. This $8 part is nearly an exact match.
After doing a complete rebuild of the engine and transmission its all ready to go back in. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Finally got around to installing the new stock rotors on the front. I did not use dial calipers or shims. I did not replace the pads as they are like new. I did not replace the flex brake lines as no swelling was noted. I did not use a dial gauge to verify the the flatness of the rotors, I am feeling lucky! And by "finally", I've had those rotors sitting around for 6 or 7 years. They look purty. Anyone need some used crossdrilled rotors??
Posting this a couple of days late... dropped the engine back in Sunday afternoon after a lengthly full service and addressing of all sorts of minor issues "while I was there".
