It’s a lot of money for a Jag but I thought these things would be worth more given build numbers, it’s such a unicorn . https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1993-jaguar-xj220-manual/OAG-AD-21833153
Funny that the advert pretends that the engine came from TWR. Reality is that it came from the Metro Group B rally car. Basically a Leyland V6 with turbos.
True, imagine getting in a stripped out metro with that donk sat over your shoulder, sheesh ![emoji51]

I am right there with you! When I moved to Sydney in the late 70’s the agent had a showroom on William Street. They had a Vantage in silver birch on display - bloody gorgeous, you have to see one in the flesh to appreciate it. IIRC $165k. For comparison there was also a new 400i there for $144k and a C4 for $55k.
Real problem highlighted there is the ECUs and he forgot to mention that probably ALL the ECUs (including Porsche) probably originate in China or Taiwan.
Looking at the video a SECOND time -Yes I'd have one. Be a slayer of any GT-period Ferrari in a straight line? The Brits and their VM hides .......AWESOME.
Same for me. There are only 2 types of 98 in Australia, Shell and BP (despite the sign on the petrol station). Some years ago Wayne Smith (legendary engine builder) ran back to back dyno tests, BP fuel made more power. btw does anyone know the difference between octane ratings here? V-power is rated 91 in the USA, 98 here.
