Such a fantastic weekend! The FCA event is THE premiere event of the year. Want a world-famous track with 8-10 cars in your run group? Want to avoid a sea of swarming Miata's and drive with like-minded folks? This is it.

NEVER imagined driving my TR on the track. We did the FCA Lime Rock event in June and I did put the car on track in the Green run group for a few laps. For Labor Day, we took the car up so we could drive between the cabin on the lake and the track. Instead I was more leery of a full parking lot so I left the car at the track. We ended up enjoying several sessions over the weekend. She performed flawlessly over the weekend. I burned a full tank of fuel and the car is running like new. While the brakes of our cars are not up to modern standards, with some thoughtful braking zone techniques you can exercise the car with little more than fresh fluid and a decent set of pads (these are Porterfield and they do quite well).

Saturday night we had a Police escort from the track to Market St. in Corning, complete with some triple digit blasts. Such an amazing feeling to LEGALLY open up the 12 cylinder and feel her come to life.

So here is a short clip of our BellaRossa on track (FB page documents my work, build, etc. on @Bellarossa2019 ). Enjoy.

    nice video,
you drive very slow on the track, so is that the reason you put on the hazards lights?

I don't know that I would call that 'slow' :) I am out in the Blue/Red run groups combined. The Blue group passing zones are different than Red.

I'm driving a street car on 35 year old braking technology. Going into 5th gear as I approach a turn is anything but slow, however the video doesn't convey that speed.
