Really superb work! Must have been fun to drive the 360 CH on track. Friend of mine owned a 430 challenge which be bought new, basically used it as track day car and it amazing the level of grip on slick tyres. As an interesting experiment we put slicks on a 430 Scuderia and it was also quite an experience, driving it on the road with slicks was perhaps less smart but fun. When this project is complete I would suggest entering it into one SEFAC show event, I assume you belong to SEFAC?
I'll def try and show it before I start tracking it too heavily ... INTERIOR CONTINUED ... I removed as much wiring and components as I could without actually removing the harness from the car - that I loosened, cleaned up and inspected. Found one ground wire that had broken. I then finished up coating the interior metalwork with a rubberized stone chip. I think its given it a nice finish. Had mounting plates re-plated and powder coated as per original. I opted with a matt clear on the internal carbon fiber parts ... Subjectively I think it makes it look a touch more sophisticated than the glossy finish. Easy enough to change if I decide otherwise... Been out of this thread for a bit. Dale it looks amazing sir! You continue to execute with the best of them. Hope at the end of the day you do not have so much emotionally and financially invested you cannot push it to the limit even on track days. I did that with my first restomod, realize yours is a true restoration. Eventually sold it, very sad, and bought my current 430C to thrash and not worry. But I still do worry but not as much. It stays more than presentable once I have it back at my shop. I also must say if you can "tail out" in a 360C with decent slicks that is more than impressive. Even the fastest guys i know cannot do that until the slicks are toast!! Keep up the great work! Peter
Thanks guys ! Peter, Im sure I'll be a little tentative and cautious in the beginning, but that should wear off ! ':-D Some updates on the front corners .... Front right fender liner was damaged, left was missing. I repaired the right side, scanned it, modelled, mirrored and printed it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I sanded the print, drilled mounting holes, and shot two layers of stone chip. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login The result was successful. It fits well, looks the part, its functional, and cost a fraction of what a replacement part would have. And, again, the left and right side can now be printed on demand as is needed.

Thanks for all the encouragement gentlemen ! :-D I do appreciate it. Finished off the front corners by installing the radiators. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I haven't cut out the light cluster access door on the left front fender. Im kinda on the fence about doing that ... but it may be a real pita later on if I need access ... so might just dive in and get it done? Next steps on the front area of the car will be to clean up the steering rack and brake booster etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
