Could be one of many things, a one off development car, Engine or another system being developed, could even be still testing a part for the XX
Ferrari hit it out of the ballpark with the SF90 XX. What a beast! Sent from my SM-F936U1 using Tapatalk
Base coupe is $885K plus $5K delivery and spider is about $100K more in the U.S. market. This is a $430K premium over my AF spider, but I’m happy to pay it, because it’s such a fantastic car…and a collector’s piece.
That is definitely not true, Valkyrie, Jesko, Pagani are all still very loud. Even an 812 Competizione is not exactly quiet. But apparently you can't answer my question about how the SF90 XX sounds.
I haven't heard it in person. No need to be snarky, it was merely a joke...but most jokes have some truth behind them. Ferrari V8s and V12s of today are not the same volume they once were.
It's all good, but I can't stand it when people write something without knowing it. So many people also said that the 812 Competizione sounds the same and is Not louder than the 812 GTS. But that was completely wrong, because there are big differences between the two. According to Ferrari, they have changed some things that the sound of the SF90 XX are louder.
I know, and I agree with you on not commenting on things you kneloe nothing about. Well, there are two kinds of volume. I’m sure the competizione is louder than the GTS in theory, but from my experience with a normal 812SF without GPF, my GTS sounds louder…when the top is down. I know the standard SF is louder, but the perception of volume is greater in my GTS, to me (acronym city!). It’s because I don’t drive it with the top up very often. I have heard the same about the XX, and someone mentioned it was in regard to the hot tube. I’d hope it’s something we can add to the regular SF90.
We should all keep in mind that newer EU regs limit the external level of noise permitted. That's why Ferrari invented the hot tube.
I hope so too, I'm very curious about the real values and the sound. 0.2 seconds faster to 200 seems a bit low to me. I think they didn't want that the car is faster than the Laferrari on the paper.
Hopefully there is something like in the 812 Competizione, that in race mode you have a louder sound.
I don't want a "loud" car. I want a car that sounds good. A car that just makes noise, even loud noise, is essentially nothing more than a tractor trailer going up a steep incline. I would rather have a car that is not loud, but sounds symphonic.
It seems that crassness is prevalent mostly amongst American contributors. You rarely read Europeans yearning for loud sounds...
