    You got the message perfectly...
Not only is there no more V12 development on the program, which is understandable because it is impossible for him to pass Euro 7, but he will have to hurry to homologate the 3 versions of 167, not to mention the problematic Icona... Euro 7 is the end point of our Ferrari, the one we still love despite everything... it is obviously easier to tackle a V12 than the real problem of world overpopulation...

Actually, the problem is de-population in many first world countries, it is a huge problem. Native Italians for instance, Native Japanese, etc...those civilizations will likely cease to exist in a few generations...

    https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/births-italy-hit-record-low-2022-population-shrinks-further-2023-04-07/

    https://apnews.com/article/japan-birth-rate-record-low-population-aging-ade0c8a5bb52442f4365db1597530ee4

same is true for most other first world countries...

As for 'over population' of other countries, the solution is to increase the living standards and better access to healthcare and then the need to have "tribes" as families will be reduced since the juvenile death rate will be greatly reduced.

A direct asteroid impact, an X40+ solar flare, a massive volcano (VE8+) event, those are existential threats.

The gyrations of weather represented an existential threat long ago when our forebears did not have the benefit of modern farming methods and transportation. Thankfully, those days are in the past. Weather related fatalities bear this out, as they have been declining which is quite impressive when you consider the huge increase in population over the same time. Outside of a direct lightning strike, being the path of a tornado or large hailstorm or living in a flood plain, your existence should rarely be threatened by the weather.

We’re Safer From Climate Disasters Than Ever Before
Though it receives little mention from activists or the media, weather-related deaths have fallen dramatically.

Let me add some fuel to this fire.....
Fuel Powered Technologies = Western World
    Battery Powered Technologies = China

I think our politicians will realize in the short term (if they aren't already bought by China) that changing our main power supply from Fossil to Battery will mean China will rule the world. (they already do, but not in plain sight yet).......!

    Yup.

I’m sure they will sell out. A lot of pretentious wannabes in this world.

Not for me. Plenty of other options. Not gonna lose any sleep over this. What I really want is a Toyota Land Cruiser truck like we use on Safari. But it won’t pass emissions or some sorry nonsense. Take a pic tomorrow if I remember.

Anyway, as my dad used to say about women: La figa ha molte facce….

Perhaps with the end of euro 7, they will build a new generation of V12 fueled by bio carburants ?

Raising SOL and better health care sound good in the media and looks good on paper but very difficult to do in reality but earth’s population overall has more than tripled since I was a kid and the overpopulated countries such as China and India carry about half of that number. Both those countries are vying to control the world economy with China having a significant lead thus far and the US is twisting itself in knots about social issues whilst allowing its lead in the world to dwindle. The existential threat for the US and Western Europe is the internal rot of societal decay and corruption which goes with it which is going to give China what it wants on a silver platter with out a single shot fired because the US and Western Europe will be too busy arguing amongst them about how to respond.
As for the inverted population triangle- all developed countries have that issue but the US has been resistant due to its history of high immigration to this country. I’m certainly not against immigration in significant numbers to keep the US populated with younger people because we need them but would certainly like to see a controlled system as opposed to the uncontrolled madness at our southern borders.
I’m the meantime I’ll keep searching the skies for the existential meteor to end all life…

Obviously he means GTB, GTS and VS versions which include, although not articulated, both a coupe and aperta version of the VS, so technically, yes a total of 4 models of the F167 will need to be homologated in a short period of time in order to beat regulatory windows closing.

The key takeaway from this? Get your orders or pre-orders in now because there is likely to be a shorter production window on all F167 derivatives versus 812 derivatives, perhaps a two-ish year production run on the GTB, GTS and VS derivatives respectively. Therefore high risk of total production run being sold out before official launch. Also, from every indication and high intel signals the true swan song of regular production V12 from Ferrari heightens the rapid sellout risk dynamics even further.

Let’s turn our speculation to this topic …

If you were in charge of Ferrari, what would you name the F167 regular production models and what would you name the F167 VS models?

so if the euro 7 is from JULY 2025 , do you mean that they need to start ( and deliver all ) the production of the three versions ( if there will be 3 .. ) of the 167 before July 2025 ? Seems almost impossible to me ..

It is just necessary to homologate cars before the date of entry into force of Euro 7. After that, you can produce the vehicle during the whole cycle.
In my opinion, as long as they can produce a copy, they will do so.

Interesting idea. I don’t think they will do that though. Too similar to F12.
