Is your belief LH has been gifted his various motorsport opportunities mostly for reasons that aren’t sheer merit?

    Wow, just wow.

RB 18 was in fact the best car with most potential but overweight at the beginning (13-15 kgs).
They began to remove weight and then the car was able to demonstrate its full potential.
TD39 was just the cherry on the cake for RB.

With the lack of understanding you continue to show in just about every aspect you comment on, it doesn't surprise me one bit that you fail to understand this either.

Max is a talented driver in an incredible car. If anyone should be recognized as the GOAT in this discussion, it would have to be Adrian Newey. I like Max, he's aggressive and motivated. Am I ready to make any declarations about him being the "best" driver of all time? Heck no, not when Mr. Newey is responsible for so much of his recent dominance.

Likewise, Sir Hamilton is a talented driver. Best ever? Not even close. He's been blessed to have people around him who coddled and promoted him. Now that seems to have ended, and he has been relegated to a mid-pack driver at best. We are going to have to wait for a long time to see another driver like Fangio, Clark, Senna or Schumacher. Sir Hamilton is not one of those guys, and he never will be, unless it's in the mind of his rapidly diminishing social media fanbase, many of whom cannot differentiate a piston from a pinworm.

This thread has lots of interesting and sometimes intelligent debate out the role the car plays in a driver's success. But the original premise, "Hamilton Deserves More Respect" is laughable. Much of the commentary here is because Sir Hamilton was lauded with much more respect than he deserved. Sadly, he is not a particularly likable personae, especially when he used his team's success to press his divisive political nonsense to an adoring but non-motoring demographic. Most of us who have loved F1 for decades are fascinated with the engineering and technology. Neither of those are compatible with virtue signaling and political posturing. Don't use motorsport as a podium to preach divisive politics. We've plenty of that to go around elsewhere. It's time for Sir Hamilton to go bye-bye.

Some of you should learn the difference between "divisive" and "an opinion that differs from mine"
    Just a suggestion.

So Gasly, Albon, Perez, Riccardo, Sainz, had no fear of Max? That should tell you something.

That's your go to huh. When you make a stupid point, your go to is the other person has lack of understanding. The person who accuse people of lack of understanding usually is the one who lacks understanding

Sir Lewis Hamilton doesn't need respect from anybody on here. He doesn't need anything from you. He is already successful with a strong following. What he need respect from you for? If you decided to respect him now, he won't even notice it, he probably doesn't even know you.

So why do you support a thread titled "Hamilton deserves more respect"? And why do you demand that everyone bows at Hamilton's feet? And why do you defend Hamilton when anyone's opinion differs from your own?

    1. I'm a Sir Lewis Hamilton fan that's why I support him.
    2. I don't demand anything, I call people out when they be hypocritical about Sir Lewis Hamilton vs other drivers.
    3. I defend Haimilton when I see some being hypocritical.
    Here are my questons.
Why are so many of you spend so much time and effort in a thread of a person you don't like?
Why do you demand that everyone start to hate Sir Lewis Hamilton?
Why do you belittle Sir Lewis Hamilton when anyone's opinion differs from yours?

I think you are fully entitled to support Lewis.Maybe I am mistaken, but it sure seems like you lead a protest to anyone that challenges Lewis's character or doesn't respect him, and then you go on to say that Lewis doesn't need respect from anyone on here. Its conflicting.

In a thread about Lewis Hamilton, regardless of how it's titled I think encourages conversation for his good things as well as the bad. I enjoy that

I couldn't care less what personal opinion people have of Lewis Hamilton. I don't think you could ever find any evidence that even suggests I want people to have a certain feeling about him. Love him, hate him, or be completely indifferent. It doesn't matter to me.

I don't belittle Hamilton, I only provide facts about his performances or things he has said or done. I have often given him praises, but those don't go as noticed from your side of the fence.

I don't think you can find evidence that I demand every one bow down to Hamilton's feet. I already said in the past that Sir Lewis Hamilton will align with past champions in that he will have supporters and haters. This we can not change.
You say I lead a protest for Sir Lewis Hamilton. I don't compare to the people here that lead a hate protest for Sir Lewis Hamilton.
