Well I don't pay much to run mine. No (well very low) maintenance , fairly low purchase price (what's $60k these days) and free power thanks to solar/my employer. Rego is a bit higher of course, but no big deal.... As a daily driver I love mine. It's been almost 3 years and reliability has been rock solid. I don't believe in black and white arguments. Both can co-exist very happily.
