Hi all, sorry, again very late... There was another race on 30 August 1953 : Premio Pergusa, Circuito della Cravatta, Sicilia, Italy. #8 was Placido (Felice refering to the 1953 Ferrari Yearbook or Pasquale) with 166 MM Touring Barchetta 0044M. Result : 5th (1st in class) His name was "Pasquale Placido", here is a nice book about his racing career... https://www.amazon.de/Pasquale-Placido-Lautomobilismo-negli-Italian-ebook/dp/B06XXMGBWW/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=30M1MXCY7QM06&keywords=placido+pasquale&qid=1694176906&sprefix=placido+pasqual%2Caps%2C256&sr=8-1 best wishes, BjörnS

Image Unavailable, Please Login Small correction : at 1°Gran Premio Supercortemaggiore, Merano, Italy, 166 MM/53 Vignale Spyder #22 raced by Franco Cortese was 0290M, not 0278M. Plates "MI 214166" are perfectly visible on several pics (see Cavallino magazine #117 et 120). Thanks to Andrew to have corrected me.
This photo has also been identified as 0158 ED at the 21 September 1952 Catania-Etna hillclimb (almost a year earlier)? Marcel Massini

For what it is worth: Forza magazine #127 claimed that Yvonne Simon raced chassis 0018 M finishing 11th???
I doubt very much a car with #127 would have been raced at Coppa Inter-Europa this year. All cars had two digits race numbers...
Forgot Skarpnäck, Sweden, on 13 September 1953 with 0238A (Valdemar Stener), 0230MM (Roberto Rosselini) and 0014M (Olle Persson) that you can see in color in this video...
