Great drive from SAI. I wasn't a fan, but I am becoming more impressed.

He always does that, that's how he broke the winner's trophy in Hungary.

Big congrats to Sainz and Ferrari. Super well done!

Would be nice if the RB problems continue for further races, made it so much more interesting.

And I was thrilled that the commentators did not get their wish of a British 1,2,3. They were so annoying with that crap.

Carlos "I did that on purpose." should be made into a t-shirt. :)

Now the commentators are pretending they understood, but when Carlos asked to be informed lap after lap about the gap with Norris, they questioned it, arguing he should worry about the gap with the Mercedes...

I also believe Carlos said something to the effect of “it’s on purpose” when on the radio with 4 laps to go. It made sense he was keeping Lando in a position to defend the Mercs but yeah the commentators either missed it or were too busy blathering on about a 1,2,3 British driver finish to hear him.

The "it's on purpose" came on after asking for the gap, that's when it was "explained" - but Carlos had this idea before, and none of the supposedly skilled commentators uncovered it.

It was incredibly smart racing from Sainz. Using your rival behind you to essentially block the faster ones behind him. If he scampered off and got Norris out of DRS, Norris would've been overtaken by the Merc duo instantly and he'd be under enormous pressure for the last lap.

Racecraft. Been saying it all long. More complete driver than CL, in all respects.

1988, last time we had a near perfect season...until a team interrupted it. That team was Ferrari.

Would be nice if history repeated itself!

Yup. A lot more into winning than simply being very fast...
