https://www.autoevolution.com/news/swanky-cadillac-celestiq-poses-for-the-camera-looks-like-a-wagon-in-need-of-a-lift-kit-221270.html I can see people getting this home, putting it in the garage, stepping out, and, before disappearing across the threshold into the house, pausing to glance back for an admiring gaze from the doorway, whereupon they'll clutch at the doorframe for support as they're struck by a moment of: "Oh, God, what have I done?" All the best, Andrew.
I would love to have seen Cadillac bid farewell to the internal combustion engine by putting the Sixteen into production as a crazy Halo car: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I know you did a great job of capturing the flavor in the CTS, @jm2, but I really would have liked to see the 13.6L V16 in a production Cadillac. All the best, Andrew.
And you’re in good company Andrew. All my designer pals agree with your assessment. But the 16 is 20 yrs old at this point. I’m confident all the Celestiqs will be sold. I think the 16 was closer to the mark.
How about those two red arrows at the rear cast on the pavement at night? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am fascinated by the AI tools ability to spit out an endless stream of proposals. Image Unavailable, Please Login yes you too can be a designer!
The headrests look below the level of the hood, so people won't be able to see where they're going. And the wheels have absolutely no room for suspension travel, so your tire is the only suspension you have. Apart from that, not unpleasing to the eye, I guess. All the best, Andrew.
No, somehow I don't think, even with AI doing it for me, I have what it takes to design a car. If I'm ever in a position to have a car designed for me, I'd probably request a modernized 348, maintaining the side strakes and pop-up headlights (or ones that move inside a shroud). But I'd leave the actual designing up to someone who has been to design school. All the best, Andrew.
So... 1000 Euros seems like that would be fun. I'll have you know, aside from a penchant for side strakes, I've excellent tea- and coffee-making skills to bring to the design team. When can we start? All the best, Andrew.
The $64 question is if they stole it from Auto Zone and the Drifters! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, I was talking about the shape of the shooting brake body not the lights(this shape has been used on something before, I am searching). Auto Zone and the tuners did not invent under body lighting. It was used maybe in the 1950's by the Hot Rod crowd taken from lighting on aircraft landing gear so they put it in the cars wheel wells. I always say almost anything you see now that you think is new was probably copied or based on something done years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
1:1 model and design sketches of the Ferrari KC23 at the Ferrari museum in Maranello. Pretty wild design. The light bars are mind blowing.
