Maybe pavers are the way to go as you can always regrade as many times needed

You may have **** for a concrete sub but you're pretty fortunate to have a GC willing to keep working with you to sort this out.

What a mess this has turned into - I feel for ya man!

Install a drain close to the garage door.
That way you can delete the dip and grade the driveway concrete grade to the drain. How much rain to you get?

Its what most residents do going from public road to their properties where they cannot tear up the road. Easy fix. Not dangerous mate just use checkered galvanised plate. At worst just spot weld open weave stair tread.

There is no sound going over it.

But not wanting to piss our parade as you have already dug the driveway out. Just make sure you have drains before the garage.

    Food for thought.

A profession job would be executed this way.

Dirt to be graded to close enough to final slope gradient and size.

Crushed rock to be spread at least 2 inches thick and pounded down.

Concrete reinforcing mesh laid down on spacing cups.

The correct water content concrete specified ( controls how thick , and slip to allow for big gradient jobs ).

Specify the grade of concrete, ( massive price differences !!!!! ) pressure grade.

Concrete pump from the road, and a crap load of concreters.

When cured, concrete to be cut for expansion joints.

ALL DRAINS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ANY POUR , NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

Where will your water go ? Work this out FIRST.

You have gone into this without proper information. If you have never have done something you should always reach out and ask.

IMO lick your wounds , rip it all out and find a professional team.

It will not be cheap but there is only one way to do it, the proper way.

Thats why I recommended the sheet steel approach.

I think you should find a civil engineer.
    Shoot the grades.
The engineer can put the grades on the plans. Slope and drains.
    Shouldn’t be that expensive.

    **** show this morning.

I got back from the gym and the same guys were there scraping the driveway.

Short story. I kicked their asses off my property and a new company is supposed to come by today or tomorrow.

    Fingers crossed.

We'll see what the new company has to say.

Everything I've read says cutting joints after the fact is not good.

If they can’t fix it you will need to build a full size car elevator shaft at the top of the driveway that will lower your car then you can re pour a level drive to the garage. Obviously some grading would be involved. Simple. [emoji851]

The same meth heads showed up Monday morning. I lost it and kicked them off my property. Apparently they didn't get the "You're fired" memo.

New company came out Wednesday evening to look and have a talk. He said it's really not that hard. He immediately took the measurements from my car and told me the plan of attack. He looked at their work and dismantled every single thing they did. He said that the driveway needs to angle down 2" in a 10 foot span outside my garage and that's where the drain will be, then will gradually make it's way up the driveway in 4 foot sections with no more than a 1.5" rise. He's also said there's no way to do this without pouring concrete retraining walls on the sides so he's doing that as well and also adding a 3rd parking spot.

Hopefully getting me in this coming week.
