I know! It is dumb. The painted shields are the same yellow…. Just not the metal shields. This is the other reason why I chose the painted shields. BTW - on the pics of my PS it shows the metal shields as the config in the dealership does not give them the option to show the painted shields on the car. May the Horse be with you
Hey guys, im currently speccing my purosangue for april 2024 production. Choosing Nero Purosangue as exterior color with Bordeaux as main leather color my dealer said standard purosangue will have the "new" alcantara for door panels, armrest and seat inserts. And if i choose the new style seats (Just because i want to get rid of the alcantara on the seats) I have to add this full / extended leather package first in order to replace all the "new" alcantara into leather (but the seat inserts) Is that true? And i cant just special request the standard four seats' inserts to be leather, i have to add this full / extended leather package first before i could special request those four seats' inserts to be leather. And this special request is around 1k different from the new style seats...which seems dumb to me? Any input / experience would be great, thank you!
Yes, it is true. The Style seats are only available in combination with the leather interior (Code INTP).
Coincidence or not, this Purosangue recently spotted in Montecarlo - Monaco has an exterior finish in Bronzo Montecarlo. There are few Ferraris in this color but I remember seeing a Portofino in this color a while ago and I thought it was interesting. With due respect to all owners who opted for other colors, Bronze Montecarlo gives the Purosangue great sobriety and elegance and seems to fit it like a glove. The black calipers also contribute to enhance the car discretion. Regarding the interior, what we can see is that it is in a brown color that combines very well with the exterior. A Ferrari without shields is like tits without nipples. Pointless. (I think I just made that up lol- copyright [emoji23]) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Practically every car made has something on its side panel to let the world know what it is- be it make, model or engine. The days of Ferraris having shields only on its track car are long over. If someone wants shields so be it, if not or painted it’s okay. I once had someone walk up to me in my black GTS asking if it was the new Corvette. Before I could respond he saw the shield and said “oh it’s a Ferrari!” Saved me energy in having to respond Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Has anyone seen a picture of a Puro with painted shields? It's bigger flanks may look better with the larger shield to fit the proportions...T
There is definitely more real estate there for a painted shield Having stated this, I saw a painted shield on a 296GTB the other day and although it was big for a such a small area, it still looked brilliant. May the Horse be with you
I don't see how Ferrari let this guy film everywhere during the PS tests. I was there this week and the staff was hysterical about phones and ipads' lenses that they got all covered with stickers. Everyone was under permanent control from the Ferrari staff and it was quite annoying.
The planet is full of show off bloggers who feed on those who flatter them. Those who don't, like Ferrari and many of us, simply ignore them.
The Purosangue's virtual configurator shows all the finishing colors that Ferrari offers, but the result is quite artificial. There is nothing that replaces seeing the colors in person and, even so, their perception can vary greatly depending on the intensity of the light and its angle of incidence.
