    I sent the ex-Dr Brooks 85963 to Ferrari of Newport beach to recalibrate & tune the Marelli injectors and give it an overdue service, and I must say Chief Tech Paul B who has worked on these since new is amazing.

    I stopped halfway through the post-service test drive and snapped the 1st 2 images, and with the engine running I simply stood and stared for a few minutes - the F40 effect. It really turned out to be a quick one amongst others I have driven extensively.

    The accident happened at night years ago in Alberta. Broke the windshield and lets just say it was very messy.

    A famous client of ours was driving a Ferrari we sold him in the hills near Malibu and a deer ran into the car, luckily he wasn't going fast and only the door was damaged.

    The 1st image is of our client's USA F40 89523, images taken for our inspection last winter.

    Using USA F40 this a a comparo against the Eu F40s we deal with, for the uninitiated, besides the fact that they are both upholstered in red Nomex, you can see how different the USA seats are. They are two-piece items, adjustable not only fore & aft but also for rake. The shape of the composite shell means you sink lower in the seat in the USA car so its handy for taller drivers as you do in fact have a bit more headroom.

    You don't have the apertures for the cool 4-point Sabelt harnesses in the USA car's seats though.

    Government errors & omissions.

    It has been shown much love, just not many miles, I think the increase in values has a lot to do with some cars remaining low mileage.
