Not sure. I’m actually enjoying the f8 so much that it’s hard to imagine I will enjoy the 296 more. My dealer has 2-3 296 demo cars and I keep turning down test drives because the car is still months away and I don’t want to ruin my current experience

Can't wait to hear what you think. I suspect you'll love them both...

That’s interesting…. We should review this conversation after you have driven one.

    Whilst I have not owned a F8.

I did own. 488GTB and a Pista and the 296 is a totally different beast!

I just did the Corsa Pilota in Italy at Fiorano and I was blown away with the 296 again!

My car is on its way and I am really looking forward to it.

Ok Condor. The truth is I am just trying not to think about it because I have been obsessed with the 296. From everything I had heard I’m expecting that the 296 is significantly more powerful and sounds significantly better. It is also a shorter looking car, which I like. Also it is easily, to me, the best looking Ferrari in many years. It looks like a 250 LM race car. Congratulations on your car.

Ok… so the inevitable will happen.

    It’s just evolution.

    We can’t help ourselves!

Having stated this, the drive in the 296 is just so rewarding especially the shorter wheel base and how it makes you feel when you drive it!

Enjoy the f8 and try and keep both of you can as they are both very different beasts.

May the Horse be with you
