    There used to be a source of solid state replacements for the factory F1 pump relay, but the links are all dead. Anyone know of an option to replace my aging relay, without simply buying a new one from Ferrari? I might end up doing that, just so I know the relay is not 20 years old, but this is one area where I think solid state is the way to go if it is an option. I drive my car, and track it occasionally, so I am not bothered by the non OEM status.

    That is a mechanical .. it has a coil in it to pull a lever to contacts
    Solid state like scuding is all electronics
    I have mentioned before the biggest benefit of a solid state relay ( not a scuding..that is a different unit) is faster switching - you really don't need it here for this application
    Replacing them every few years with something like the one you posted is more than fine .. the only exception is if you are having issues with your F1 system that causes more cycling it is highly recommended to change once you fix the original problem

    Just a note - the pin setup on a solid state relay may be different and most likely will not have flyback protection

    If he has an older 360 (built before fall 2003), he only has a 30 amp relay.

    For what it’s worth, I have a 2004 Challenge Stradale and I still have the old 30A relay in my car.

    Yup, early 2004 MY cars were built before the change was made in fall 2003. My Nov 2003 MY 04 575M has the 30-amp relay. The change on 575Ms was made at AN 52556 and it is probably pretty close to that for the V8s.

    A much better 30-amp relay is available through BMW. It is a Tyco V23134-B57-X266, BMW part number 61.36-8 366 646. I have had that same relay, not from BMW, for several years with no problems.
