RedBridge director of corporate affairs and communications, Tony Barry described support for the Yes vote as in “free fall”, having dropped five per cent in a month.

“The Yes23 campaign keep briefing the media that they are taking their campaign to the suburbs and regions, but then they pivot back to media stunts with corporates, celebrities or former senior politicians who previously opposed it,” Mr Barry told The Daily Telegraph.

“Attaching your campaign to a toxic brand like Qantas and one of the most disliked CEOs in the country might work if you are pitching your message to the members of the Chairman’s Lounge, but in suburban and regional Australia it goes down like a cup of sick,” he said.

“The No campaign is showing greater message discipline by repeatedly referring to the proposal as the ‘Canberra Voice’ because their research is presumably showing it is a persuasive message that moves soft voters into their column.”

    OLIO....a cup of sick.

I haven't fact checked this yet:

From an employee of Oxley Resources (a geological survey company).

    JUST VOTE NO

I just have to mention this. I was to go to Mudgee next Tuesday for an initial talk with the Warrabinga-Wiradjuri group concerning preliminary access onto a Mudgee tenement we were granted (Oxley Resources). Then we got a call asking who they were to invoice. We said, for what? They said, ‘sitting fees’ for six people at $700 a head, plus travel (from Kandos), plus the cost of the Club Mudgee meeting room and we think plus the costs of their WA native heritage solicitor Rob Houston (Angus Houston’s son) who was flying over. Going forward they wanted $10K for legals on a pro forma agreement that stipulated $10K be paid to them for every year we held the tenement. Then if we wanted to actually do any actual geological work we had to get a native title heritage report done ($20K) and then they would let us know what their costs would be for watching us explore.

    We cancelled,

    Chris

    That's what I've been saying.Greed.
It's just a huge money grab, nothing will change for the people that need it, but the public purse will be empty in a few years. Look around, our national debt is over 800B , WA is in the best shape, if you call 50B good, NSW and VIC are over the 170 B and QLD not far behind, and what is the common thread- the socialist labor party, they couldn't organize a good F#*k on a Friday with a fist full of fifties!
Like they say , you give someone nothing for something, and you make a nothing out of someone.
