Dunno the backstory but I love it. Hopefully we see more of that Collector.
Its probably a fake but I saw on the Gram the other night that #0720TR had been sold to a Mexican collector in recent years and was off to Classiche in late 23 for a restoration to be done. Leads me to two things, 1 - Steve Griswold no less says the only part of 0720TR that was reused is its front tube AND 2 - I love the movie the Mask, its peak Jim Carrey! Here is SG explaining restoring #0720TR https://www.internationalclassic.com/en/ferrari-250-testa-rossa/ AND Another interesting article about the 0720TRs (at least three in 2002 here) https://ferraris-online.com/clone-wars/ Although again it could be any of hundreds of 250TR fakes floating around!
Ferrari would green light a fake during cavalcade? But then ban non red f40s from the factory ground?
I can confirm: It is 0720TR, driven at the Cavalcade by its new enthusiastic owner from Mexico. Best regards Bjoern

I am not at all convinced. Still does not look like a Calif. Do you have anything that confirms 100% what it is?
(BTW from that distance, with crappy phone cameras, very hard to tell anything with much accuracy. It looks more California than PF to me, too..)
NO NO NO!! NO relation to my photo of 2519 GT in Switzerland. Zero. 2519 GT does not have additional fog lights. Please do NOT create more confusion. Thank you. Marcel Massini
I would say it is the 250 GT California Spider SWB 1951gt, I saw it in Italy during the restoration, colour and seats are the same as this one.
Not my aim to cause more confusion, apologies. At least we are closer to the answer to the mystery with the suggestion of 1951gt by member Enzo Anselmo Ferrari.
