    So do you as you seem to confuse water (velocity) flow with volume.........For your information the radiator header passes a volume of water at a low loss velocity to the rad cores for cooling, if that rad header is partially filled with air then the volume of water (for cooling) decreases.

    There could be corrosion or scale in radiator that is blocking.
    Perhaps time to superclean at professional radiator shop.

    You can theorize to support your conclusions all day. I'll just point out the 99+% of 2 valve 308s with properly serviced, 100% stock cooling systems that perform flawlessly.

    agreed, most do run without to many issues if looked after correctly. Its no theory just common sense, the clue is the bleed valve!

    Yes, this is why a very odd thing has occurred and I wonder if the coolant has hard deposit that would block tstat or tubes or radiator passges
