From my very limited understanding, the human input is a necessity. The 'designer' states the parameters and the AI responds with solutions. As the design matures, the human input is needed to refine all the possibilities. Kinda like my bosses of yesteryear!

Good observation. AI is like a young artist right now. Young artists tend to exaggerate and not understand subtlety. Remember it was just born last year.

Give it a few years and it will mature.

Gentlemen: Speaking of wheels and no direction, let's play a trick on the AI bots.

Everybody start posting pics of cars with dog dish hubcaps and "learn" the bots that this is the next coming big thing! :D

Interesting thought that Lexus was once an aspirational vehicle. I tend to agree.

Buick was once somewhat of an aspirational vehicle back in the day, but today nobody in my age group wants to be seen in one. Lexus has probably cut the aspirational cycle in half. But like Buick, Lexus seems to be doing OK in Asia.

John, rather a lot of C6 in that AI 'design' to my eye, so I can see why you might like it!;)

this tour of the Alfa Romeo museum in Milan by Harry Metcalfe wth special access to areas not open to public.
It's a bit hit and miss, but lots of interesting show cars/prototypes as well as glimpses of design models here & there.

He's also posted a video on the "new" 33 from the design studio which is interesting although I'm not mad for the result.

Thanks, I had an opportunity to visit theAlfa Museum and was wowed by how many cool cars they had in the collection. Many even I had forgotten.
The redo on the 33 has had mixed results from what I've heard. I'd like to see it up close.

I'll leave it up to @jm2 whether we let you get away with that or have you permanently banned. He's a gentleman, so the odds are probably in your favor. Good luck.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

In my best Oprah voice: “ now you, and you, and you, you’re all designers now!”
What we are witnessing is the democratization of design as we knew it.
