    My hip is getting better quickly so I took my COOL car for a quick drive just now. I recut one of the triangle stickers I had made to get the size just right and positioned it over the faded original sticker. A bit of a wipe with a dirty oily rag and getting the engine bay really hot has helped the sticker partly melt/incorporate onto the rubber hose like the original. I’m really happy with the result

    Oh, and it’s been 2 months since I redid the a/c. 25 deg outside today. Still COOOOOL

    Good to hear your chalky hip bone is healing well. :)

    Good to hear your aircon is still nice and cold. :)

    Good to see that sticker has settled nicely. :)

    Good to see your feminine hands holding that temp gun. :)

    Very good and that's a very good idea!!

    Some pecker head fitted a Sony Xplode stereo into my 348 and it has a 6 stacker in the front boot. Looks to be from around the late 90's era. That Sony Xplode **** makes me sick, always has and always will.

    Lucky the 348 has the stereo hidden behind that little lift up cover so I don't see it and I don't use it either. Rather listen to the 3.4L symphony behind me.

    I found the original tape deck that came with the 348s on Ebay around 10 years ago and purchased it. I still haven't fitted it, just like a few other parts I have for that car that have been sitting around for 15 years lol

    Anyway, I might go and find it and dig it out and fit now and be done with it.

    + Mondial. :oops::oops:

    Will try and find it tonight as I am going to my Brothers place tomorrow to re-bush the rhs steering rack and we might fit that tape deck also while we are there. I have few days off and he has two weeks off. Our rosters are opposite, so we don't normally have the same days off since 2003 lol.

    The lh steering rack bush collapsed around 5 years ago or so, drove it around for a little bit like a dickhead and pulled it up and pulled it apart and fixed it.

    Going to pull the drivers side apart tomorrow and machine up a bush for it and replace it. The lh rack bush was completely gone, the drivers side one doesn't feel as bad but it's definitely worn out.

    MJ from Enzotech noted in my service report that the steering rack needs to repaired. (And the battery cover and exhaust heatshields are missing also lol)

    I have the battery cover and those heatshields here at home, he's all over it lol. I left those heatshields off when I fit my XOST, but I still have the original 200kg twin muffler exhaust setup here also.

    I won't refit the original exhaust, way to quiet for my liking but will definitely keep it to give to the next owner one day.
