I plan on getting the 380mm front kit soon. Very interested in your impressions on installation and feel.

I've come to the realization that I have way too many projects happening concurrently, but I finally started putting these brakes on. I did get the calipers ceramic coated so they'll stay more clean than the factory calipers coming off.

Ignore the barn-esque shop...lots of tractor projects lately and I've been too busy (lazy) to clean up between lift sessions.

    Stock weak-sauce iron brakes:

Before/After weights incase anyone is curious...definitely some additional unsprung mass:

Fancy Brembo instructions and inventory sheet - I have a StopTech BBK on my wife's LX570 and the quality and thoroughness of the Brembo stuff just blows StopTech out of the water...

    New bracket on:

    And one wheel done:

Oddly the outer wheel weights contact the caliper bridge, so I need to scrape them off an rebalance the front wheels at least (I have a balancer at home, but beware if you're doing this with factory wheels)...we'll see what the rears have in store.

I would have done this long ago if they fit a 360.

I know the fronts for sure fit the 360, and I think the rears too...need to look at the brembo docs for the rear.

360 and 430 are the same. Would need 19" wheels

I was actually looking into what it would take to have 19" starfish wheels made.

I need to do one more round of bleeding the brakes to get the pedal fully firmed up and then do some higher speed bedding in.

Also changed the oil and bleed the clutch fluid while I had it on the lift - like a brand new car.

Keep us posted on how the car feels post upgrade. I’m curious if the added unsparing weight affects ride/handling quality. I doubt it, but curious all the same.

It was a beautiful day here in NC today, so I took the car out for a proper flogging earlier - no noticeable difference in the handling/responsiveness with that extra unsprung weight, maybe on a track an experienced driver could tell a difference but seemed the same to me. Braking performance is about 14000 times better now that the pads are fully bedded in, worth every (albeit many) penny(ies) - great bite and modulation.

Thanks for the follow up. Your response is exactly what I would have expected for both braking and handling/ride quality. Well, I wasn't sure it would be 140k times better lol. That's quite the endorsement ;-)
