Considering he has already done better than Bottas vs LuLu, I'd say Russell has done a great job. Plenty of room to grow, however.

More like he was forced to admit it. Even that hug looks fake as how the cameras was in place.

 

It was in 4 stages...
First he fully blamed Russell (though as an initial, immediate reaction he's excused from that one)
Then he said he'd play the team game and accept blame (so doing as he's told)
Then he said it was his fault but a racing incident (uuh...what?)
Then he finally said it was his fault hours later, followed by the hug video (thank god someone had a camera ready!)

I guess the apology Max gave to his team was fake too. The camera and audio was good timing.

I want to give Lewis the benefit of the doubt and I want to think he's man enough to admit his mistakes, but this is exactly what happened.
