I had the privilege of seeing Steve Morse play as lead with Deep Purple when they were here and a finer example of mastery over a guitar you will go a long way to find.
Having said that there are many many fine players, Richie Blackmore for one.
Until....... a while ago I found this talented young french girl Tina S.
Incredible hand speed across the frets, combined with precise technique which results in a epic performance.
She went off the radar for a while which was a shame, as it is a joy to see such a combination of player and instrument.

Family friend’s young fella Lane Pittman is opening for him and touring with him.

Pretty sure Lane is only 16 this year.

Lane was on The Voice show last year from memory.

I’m not sure if Lane is touring the world with Luke or just Australia, but I’ll find out.

Mates went to the Brisbane gigs Friday night and last night and they said it was awesome.

 

Pics of the Angels from last night some mates sent me.

They reckon they were awesome and very very loud, which surprised me to hear that.

I live 3km from the Rodeo grounds and my Wife just told me she couldn’t sleep till around 12am last night because of how loud the concert was.

Another mate just messaged me and told me he’s blown work today because he lives 500m from the Rodeo grounds and they blew the roof off his place and he couldn’t sleep last night either and is too tired to go to work today lol

My mate Lane last night in Brisbane opening up for Luke Combs.

25 min set list, must be a lot of pressure on a kid like that centre stage at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Killed it from the videos I have seen of his set.

He is only going to get better and better as he gets older.

Yep, he’s a good kid.

I talked to him last night to congratulate him on the shows he played in Brisbane and as you can imagine, he still can’t believe how lucky he is to have this opportunity and he will make the most of it he said.

 

And watch the first minute of this video and tell me Tom Araya from Slayer playing the bass guitar didn’t give himself Whiplash with all that head banging.
